Vivante Community News & Events
November 2008

Did you know that U.S. News & World Report recently selected Punta Gorda as one of the top 10 healthiest communities to retire in the nation? It’s no surprise to Vivante residents, who have fallen in love with the best of Punta Gorda right here at Vivante. Our first-class amenities make the Punta Gorda sunshine and outdoor activities even easier to enjoy, not to mention many fine friendships have been formed in our new community. As the Thanksgiving season approaches, we have a lot to be thankful for at Vivante.

A highlight of the evening will be a special Angel Tree, decorated with paper angels that identify needy local families who have been selected by the Salvation Army’s Adopt-a-Family program. This is the third year that Vivante is participating in this program. Last year Vivante residents raised $2,750, providing 11 disadvantaged families with gifts of food, toys and clothing for the holidays.

You can become a real holiday angel by adopting one or more families and purchasing suggested gifts for the family members. Plan to spend a minimum of $50 per family, and your donations are tax-deductible through the Vivante Lake Group, Inc., a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit corporation.
